It is North American Mother's Day. When I lived in the UK I was able to get cards that actually said Mum on them. I just had to buy them a month early and then remember I'd done so when it came time to send one. Because I don't have a Mom... I have a Mum. Oh well, Mum will have to settle for seeing me on Mother's Day as a substitute for Mum cards.

Lots of love to my own Mum, the most intelligent, kindhearted, force of nature I know. I know sometimes you roll your eyes at us "kids" but we're able to run off following our crazy ideas because you're our constant support.
