The New Brunswick Fashion Week had its ups and downs along the way. Whenever there is an entirely new event there's a definite learning curve. In this case there were some major communication issues and not everything went as smoothly as it might have. However, the merchants, designers, hair and make up artists of Saint John and the rest of New Brunswick did an amazing job of showcasing the level of talent and professionalism we have to offer.
During the day there were Merchant Fashion Shows but most of the looks were showcased again in the evening and I'm hoping to be able to provide you with actual professional photos courtesy of
Alicia Robichaud who has kindly offered to get me some of her files next week. Can't wait for that.

The Merchants had tables set up in the showroom with some really lovely things. I have to admit I was building quite a wish list. Was lovely to see some familiar faces like Katie Malloy of
Cozy Owl who now sells her felt hats at
Rowena's Boutique and the always friendly ladies from
Manchester Shoe Salon. It was also interesting to meet some folks from out of town, including
Jockey Person to Person. There were several merchants who I failed to get photos of due to how quickly the lights were turned down mid-afternoon. However Mary Kay and Arbonne were both represented and offering giveaways as well.
