Gully Beads

A few weeks ago I got to show off my darling new Gully Beads earrings that I purchased in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  I actually have a pair of earrings already that I'm positive are from Gully Beads but were gifted to me a few years ago so I can't be sure.  Either way, I'm sure that I love the work that Heather and her sister Michelle do under the watchful eye of the company president, Gulliver.

All the best people have their lives run by pets.

Heather and I have known each other "online" for awhile now but we finally got together in person a couple of weeks ago.  This is when Heather got to experience first hand my rather indirect interviewing style. No seriously, we totally chatted about NB Fashion Week events, our pets, visiting the vet, I think maybe for a milisecond our husbands before going back to our pets and then SHOPPING. Looking for a great interview with Heather? Visit barbarbarb! Only her giveaway is done so you have to come back here to enter mine.

So really, on to the pretty things.  Gully Beads jewelery is fun and pretty while at the same time quite classy and simple.  Heather told me that her goal had been to produce pieces that allow everyone to have something beautiful without breaking the bank. Note: In her "other" life Heather is a graphic designer.  This means that her website/blog/photos she sent me to use look so much nicer than what I do.  Jealous!

I've been eyeing some of the "chunky" bracelets on the Gully Beads shop but that last bracelet on the right is now on my wishlist.

Hoping to see some of Gully Beads beautiful things in person?  Well it was just announced on their blog that Gemini Hair Studio in Quispamsis is now carrying some of their pieces.  Also, they'll be at Kredal's Craft Fair November 26 & 27 and December 3 & 4 just in time for Christmas.  Gully Beads also does custom jewelery so if you don't see the perfect thing just ask.

Alright, now for the exciting part.  Gulliver has selected these earrings for one lucky reader.  Photo doesn't do them justice.  They're both classic and modern at the same time.  To win them head over to Gully Beads facebook page and "like" them.  Then come back and let me know that you did.

Competition ends Friday Oct 28th a midnight. On top of that Gully Beads is offering 25% off everything in their etsy shop until November 14th using the code LWBPFALL11.

Gulliver's not the only adorable one. Heather's pretty cute too.
