Sadie started off a little unsure during the truck decorating portion of the Santa Claus Parade last night. She was a nervous little girl when we got her and some of the noises and smells and the fact that at one point she couldn't see Husband or I made her a little jumpy. As soon as everyone from the group was petting her ears she was happy as a clam (Are clams happy? How do we know that? Happy as a Sadie being petted is a better expression.)
Thanks to Sadie, 5 team members and a crazy number of lights and marking tape on a pick up truck, River Valley Ground Search and Rescue were well represented at the parade. Sadie was very good at waving to groups of children when the parade stopped moving forward every 10 feet.

We had a 6th member show up after the pics were taken didn't we? When we were walking we had 2 in the truck, 2 up front, and 2 in back...
