Light at the End

For those of you who've been around for awhile (or know us in "real life") you'll know that Husband has been a full time student since last Autumn.  He's doing his Master of Business Administration.  He hasn't been around a lot.  He wrote his last exam on Thursday night and did his last assignment for this section on Friday.  He's got a professional designation test this coming week but otherwise is pretty much free til he starts his internship on the 30th.  Plus there's just no way his internship can possibly take the number of hours that classes and group work and reading and studying and all of that did. Looking forward to the rest of our summer!

This weekend was almost like a typical summer weekend.  I mean I still did all of the house work (and had mowed one evening this week) while he did some MBA stuff but it was heading towards normal!  We had a trip to the movies.  We fundraised for Ground Search and Rescue along with Sadie (Who LOVES fundraising.  Though she thinks she's fundraising for tummy rubs).  We went down the street Saturday evening to visit friends.  We hiked with Sadie and had lunch on a balcony by the water.  I even got a Sunday afternoon nap!

I've taken a couple of days off work at the end of this week so that we can enjoy Husband's down time.  Hoping to head to zoo and waterslides (who needs kids for that?) and some other fun planned as well.  May not blog quite as much this week but will make up for it next week.
