Yesterday I shared just a few of Mum and Baby Brother's photos from their dive trip to Indonesia. The last day of their Komodo Dancer trip no one could dive because you have to spend a certain amount of time up top before flying. This meant they had the opportunity to go to a village called Dokat in the mountains on the Island of Flores. The villagers played music, explained customs to do with things like clothing and showed them how they dye and weave cloth which the women sell to help support the village. Baby Brother was taller than pretty much anyone on the trip with them and he was certainly a lot taller than the little ladies who got him to join them in dancing!
The local bus
Natural dyes
The kids watching the tourists
Making the thread
Weaving the cloth
Seems like quite the experience the two world travelers had in Indonesia.
