Thankful Thursday

It is a Thursday which is never my favourite day of the week.  Tired from the week but too far away from the weekend.  Plus it's November and grey and cold and rainy today.  However, there is definitely a lot to be thankful for right now. 

I am incredibly thankful that I have no travel plans for the month of November of any distance at all. 

I am thankful that the work schedule is relatively back to "normal" after the craziness of October.  I'm thankful that we're a month away from the end of term as working on exam prep with students is something I'm pretty darn good at.

I am thankful that Monday's car repair was under warranty at least.  Hoping that tomorrow I can be thankful that my muffler could be repaired rather than needing replacing (fingers crossed for that).

I am thankful that Husband and I are looking at the count down to Christmas type season and will actually have time to attend things together for the first time in two years.

I am thankful that we have two pay cheques coming into the household again.  It feels SO good!

I am thankful that the fluff balls are all getting more cuddly with the weather getting colder.  Also super thankful that Dobby no longer even notices that Sadie is a dog.  He's such a funny addition to the household.

I am thankful that we have $3000 worth of items donated for our Silent Auction for Girls Night Out and amazing jewellery for our dial-a-diamond and so many other great things that are now in place for Girls Night Out.  I am thankful that we're down to the "doing" part having spent three months planning.  I love the doing.

I am thankful that we'll be heading to our fourth Rememberance Day ceremony at Harbour Station on Sunday.  It's so very important to remember and be thankful.
