Losing Locks

One of the big events on my birthday was the chopping off of the hair to donate for Locks of Love.  Along with the hair that came off this time I'm donating the braid that I took off when I was 16 which is LOOOONNNGGG.  The hair I lost this time is basically bangs (fringe to the Brits) in comparison.

My fabulous hair dresser Glenys at Intuition Spa in Rothesay was a wealth of knowledge regarding how wigs are made. It seems she used to work in a salon in the UK where they made wigs.  Very cool!

What a great cause to donate your hair to! I love the "new" look on you - great hair cut! And I must say, I remember that braid from when you were young! :)

I love that cut on you! I always applaud anyone for donating hair... I'm in the process of growing mine out, but I'm sure at some point I'll want to cut it again.. thanks for the reminder to think of others!
