Gardening Garb

Mum and I were in search of a low key weekend in St. Andrews and weren't particularly in the mood for whale watching or sea kayaking.  I realised that she had never been to Kingsbrae Gardens and I haven't been in a decade (I'm so old) so it seemed like the perfect activity.  We wound up spending about two and a half hours exploring the gardens before heading to their tea shop where we had wonderful live music as well as good food (Mum had their seafood chowder and I can highly recommend the smoked salmon platter featuring smoked salmon from local Wolfhead).  I figured my fun, flower top was in keeping with the activity without being overly floral!

Well aware this blog shows off Kingsbrae more than my outfit but that was rather the point!!
