Anyway, This is the best piece of clothing I ever bought:
This is my £5 "Mrs Thomas" t-shirt that I got to wear to family breakfast the morning after our wedding. With the £ higher back in 2008 than it is now it cost me roughly $8.50 Canadian through an indy shop in the UK. I figured every little crystal would wash off the first time I put it through the laundry.

I grew up with a very unique name during the late 80s and 90s when little girls everywhere were getting pens, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, etc with their names on. My name wasn't on anything! It meant that when it came to my wedding I may have gone a tiny bit overboard putting our names on things. However I have never once been anything but thrilled that I ordered this t-shirt. In fact I also ordered these:
Maid of Honour, Bride, Bridesmaid personalised T-shirts. |
We had about 150 photos taken in those shirts and I love them. Everyone kept asking how I was going to get it off to put my dress on and I said I'd just cut it. Thing is it had such great stretch that I actually got it off over my hair and veil no problem. Wore it this Halloween as part of my "Runaway Bride" costume.
So what frivolous purchase have you made that proved to be the best thing ever??
